U have to login using the administrator account ! If that user (the administrator) does not appear when starting windows than u can try entering safe mode (will display the admin .. account ...enter the pass for it and that should be it, u'll be able to get u're data or remove/add accounts ) by pressing F8 after bootup...

Hope this is the problem and not something else... if so, give more details...

Try starting Safe mode first and see if the old Admin PW's there Otherwise ERD commander 2002 as well as other programs have Locksmith or similar utilitys to remove/change Win-Doze passwords. Not that big a deal just need to google it bud!

Let us know how it goes.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

What to do ,can't log on password required

You can salvage your old user account by logging on as the "Administrator" user. Once you're logged in as the admin, you can reset your old user password. The Administrator user (by default) is similar to a "superuser" and has the highest access level to reset any user password.
If you don't know what your Administrator password is, you can reset that by rebooting into Safe Mode.
The best option here is to reset your account password. You can do this using either 1 of the 2 methods suggested by Microsoft Knowledge Base article #321305. In my opinion, the second method described on this page is most likely the easiest route: Reboot Windows in Safe Mode. Click Start, and then click Run. In the Open box, type the following command, and then click OK: control userpasswords2 Click the user account that you forgot the password for, and then click Reset Password. Type a new password in both the New password and the Confirm new password boxes, and then click OK.
Good luck!
Side note: To access Safe Mode, Click Start -> Shutdown (or Turn Off), and choose 'Restart'. Once the computer restarts, press F8 repeatedly on the keyboard until a Boot Menu appear (this *must* be done before the Windows boot screen appears). Finally, choose to boot Windows in Safe Mode and press Enter on the keyboard.

You can reset a lost or "forgot Windows password" with 4 methods below:
1. Another valid administrator account which can normally log on.
2. A password reset disk or a repair disc, which is created in advance ( before you lost password ).
3. Third-party software to create a bootable password reset CD/DVD or USB, like "Windows Password Breaker".
4. Re-install. Will lose data.

What is the Windows XP Administrator Password?

Windows XP, the most popular versions of Windows, was widely installed by PC users. Do you remember after you installing your first copy of Windows XP, how long did it require you to realize that you didn't know the administrator password? I vaguely remembered that it was about a week before I needed to make some changes in the file system. It suddenly came to me to be logged on as an administrator, but I do not know the password of the administrator!

Luckily, Windows XP (both Home and Professional versions) have a "hidden" administrator account which is autogenerate when install. This account usually doesn't show up on the logon screen and most people are totally unaware of its existence. Usually it is ok because we didn't need to user this account very often, only when we don't know the administrator password, need access to the Windows XP recovery console or boot into Windows XP safe mode, the default Windows XP administrator password would come in handy.

What is the Default Administrator Password in Windows XP?

Knowing the default password of Windows XP administrator account would be very useful.

Try to leave the password blank. The password reset disk can only be used with the computer it was created on and it can also be reused to reset the account's password multiple times. However, you need to know the password of the account you want to create the reset disk for, and you must create the reset disk before you forget the administrator password
Here is how to reset XP administrator password with the XP password reset disk:

Insert the XP password reset disk to the computer

Click the Use your password reset disk item on the XP logon screen to start the Password Reset Wizard. Instead, there are several things you can try to get access to your windows. SmartKey Windows Password Recovery is your ticket. This password recovery tool not only works on Windows XP, but also on all releases of Windows NT/2000/Vista/ 7 and Windows Server 2003/2008. I kept password for my administrator account..but when iam logging the computer it does not asking password...and directly opening the windows...i wants to keep windows should enter the password on windows...

click start control panel Open User Accounts in Control Panel. On the Users tab, click the name of the user whose password you want to change, and then click Reset Password. In New password and Confirm new password, type the new password, and then click OK. Notes You can change passwords only for local computer accounts, such as guest, administrator, or accounts you create for your computer. You cannot change your network logon password in User Accounts. To change your own password, press CTRL ALT DELETE and then click Change Password
hope this helps

You can create a Windows password reset disk to reset your password. Follow this 5 easy steps:

1. Enter a computer that can link to Internet. Google "windows password recovery tool 3.0". Download and install the software on that computer.

2. Run the software and create windows password recovery disk by follow the instructions.

3. Eject the created CD/DVD and insert it into the locked computer.

4. Reboot the locked computer (it's necessary for you to change your locked computer's BIOS setting to make it boot from CD drive) and then follow the instructions to recover admin password.

5. Now login Windows and set a new password.

Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.

Try to create a new user account

1) Click on Start
2) Click on Control Panel
3) Click on Classic View on the left hand side.
4) Click on User Accounts
5) Click on Manager Other Accounts
6) Click on Create a New User Account
7) Type in the name of the new Account and select the user as administrator
8) Then click on Create Account.

The Account would be created successfully.

Log Off from your user account and login from the new user account that you have created.

To get all the settings from your old user account to the new account copy all the items from c:\users\old user account name to c:\users\new user account name.

User account

Hi !

You may first check the selected options under Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the way users log on or off (the first option has to be selected so that user accounts are all shown on startup).

You can try to switch to that account using the start menu > Log Off > Switch Users after you have logged in to the admin profile.

when you see the login , press alt+ctrl+del two times. use administrator as a username and leave password blank. if it is successful then you can have new password of your account. after you login go to start->run-> type cmd-> type net user, you will see list of users like administrator, any account name including yours also. say your name is robert , type net user robert password . here password = any new password you want to create.
