Question about Bose 3 2 1 GSX System

Car CD player

I bought a used CD from Amazon. As soon as I put this into my car CD player, it stopped working. Can't eject the CD or others that are in and it won't play. Get an error message "Check CD" which indicates the CD is defective. Any thoughts on how to remove this defective CD from the player?
Pls note I had to indicate a specific Product type but I can't tell what it is without removing it from the car. It is a combination radio/CD player for the car, Bose.

Thank you for the suggestions and info! I guess I should take it in rather than trying to do it myself!

Bose provided the speakers, now problems relating to cd play from that point of view.
i had similar problem in my volvo , and decided to take the stereo out to find out why it would eject. i dscovered my kids shoved coins into the cd player slot.......... even though the disk itself was also not good......

if for some reason you decide to remove cdplayer element of stereo from car ( as car may be too long out of warranty )or you fell cool about doing this, just make sure you dont disconnect the climate control or the on board unit with central locking switches, or you will still have to bring your car back to the main dealer to get the air bag and locking systems reset. even removing the fuses from the fuse board wnt help here if you decide to proceed with DIY CD player repair as removing the wrong fuses or combinations of fuses (FOR YOUR MAKE AND MODEL OF CAR) will result in the same situation on re installation.

good luck.

CD won't eject from player.

I continued to press the eject button over and over back to back. As soon as it comes out of the player, immediately pull it out or it will go back in. And make sure you NEVER put the cd back in. I had used a cd cleaner, and I guess that interfered with ejecting the cd.

Cd's won't play

Its dirty, try a disc cleaner, (brushes not solution) and if that does not work, its time to replace, (unless the radio is all ya want).
ALSO- if you are trying to play burnt discs, (cd-r, mp3 discs etc) than that could be the issue as not all indash cd players support non store bought cds

CD stuck in Factory installed CD player

TRY REMOVING THE RADIO FUSE FOR 30 SECONDS THEN REINSTALL IT. THE CD PLAYER WILL SOMETIMES EJECT THE CD OR EVEN START WORKING PROPERLY AGAIN.

I cannot get the cd to eject

When you push eject you have to have something thin, like another cd should work, act like you're going to put it in. But when you have the cd trying to come out, pull the other cd out. The cd in the player is probably hanging up on the dust covers. JVC had a bad, good idea when they put those in there.

Cd player

My CD player jammed while testing it during my test drive (2001 GT), and they offered to replace it.

I found out that all of them do it. When I eject my disc, and it jams. If you look into the slot, you can see the cd. It is just not quite aligned right. Use your fingers to tap (as hard as you can) on the front of the deck. It should knock the cd loose, and it will come out. Works every time for me. Don't wait for the error to come up, as soon as you notice it didn't come out, do it, and it should eject just fine.
