I have a pionner deh-p7600mp, unit lights up, plays cd's, tunes radio, all buttons work, except there is no sound from unit, im thinkin it could be the amp chip, what do u think?
I have the same problem but it just started. Had sound in all four speaker and the sub out-put. Then nothing but the sub. Everything works just no sound from the door speakers. May not have an antenna adapter or it may be disconnected. Pull the unit and see if it's disconnected. If so, and there's an adapter present, plug it in and test. If not, you can find them in car audio stores and online for pretty cheap. Just make sure you get one that will fit your car and head unit!
hi im using pioneer DEH-5750MP pnly sound is working and no other button is working ,cd is working fine but cant acces the radio as no other button is working
those radios have a ribbon wire that breaks on them this is why it doesn't respond to your commands. pioneerelectronics.com and parts.com and or ebay.com sells the ribbon wires. the wire is located inback of the part where the faceplate hooks up to.you can see silver ovals on a black rectangle where the faceplate makes contact. that is the part.
Shut it off then hold the function button, cycle through till you find your option to turn it on, the turn the radio back on and use you source button to change to CD, TUNER, and AUX
