Check your router's settings on the set-up page and configure your wireless settings to be able to receive private chats or get invited or invite friends to an xbox live game. try to check your firewall because sometimes its blocking your connection

Cant play private matches on xbox live withe freinds on supreme commander

All players in a system link game must have the same version of the game and have installed the same updates. Some games were made for a specific version of the console, for example, the original Xbox or the Xbox 360. In addition, some games might require that both players have the same version of the Xbox console. Check the back of the game boxes to determine if the games are for the same version of the Xbox 360 console or have additional requirements.
God bless you

Not letting me except game invites on xbox live

The unable to connect problem is because NAT problems with your router, you'll have to configure your router and the NAT firewall to accept any income to you local network. Depending of the model of your router you'll have to use a computer to connect to you router and then configure it, so you can disable the firewall or put it to minimun.

Okay I didn't read every post but here is what you need to fix the dreaded BS on not being able to connect to friends.....The DMZ on your wireless router needs to be enabled and the IP address of your DMZ needs to be that of your Xbox 360. Go on your settings in your xbox and go under network settings and look at the IP address, put that exact IP address in your DMZ address setting on your wireless router settings. Make sure its enabled and the IP address is EXACTLY what it says on your xbox network settings. That should solve it all. That bypasses all your security for the xbox. Might want to put the UPNP on enable too. So the DMZ and the UPNP are both settings on your wireless router. If you have linksys its 192.168.1.1 or the linksys voice 192.168.15.1...... Try them both in your address bar, of course one at a time and DO NOT PUT www. JUST PUT 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.15.1 It should pull up a password screen and both username and pw are admin if you did not already change them. If you don't have linksys then just go online and find out how to change the settings on the router u have. This should solve it all and get you back online and rocking and rolling. Now you must do the same with your PS3 if you are having the same problems. Give me feedback on if it works. You can hit me up on xbox at BKM80. Good luck
