If it is your first time using it usually the code is 0000 otherwise look through the manual and call for asistance, if that dosent work go somplace like springfeild mall and then to a cellular phone service center.

There actually is a trick to the HS850 - flip the boom closed, then hold down the button just until the light holds solid - IMMEDIATELY after it does flip the boom open and this should keep the light solid. Then on your cell/device search for bluetooth devices - you should be able to find it now. Passkey for most devices is 0000.

Usually to solve some pairing problems shut off bluetooth completely(no lights) Push and hold button until bluetooth comes on,flashes then steady light,you may have to hold button for ten seconds or more.Then put phone in pairing mode.
