Question about Logitech Harmony 520 LCD Remote Control
I have this remote programmed to Switch my input to HDMI2 (where my DVD player is plugged into). When I press the activity to do this, my TV switches to HDMI2 but then switches back to HDMI1 (where my Cable box is plugged into). Pressing the "Help" button fixes it for that viewing session, but once I choose this function again, the same thing happens. I've tried messing with the delay timers for TV warm-up but I can't seem to fix it, and makes it worse. I set the timers back to "default" until I can resolve this.
Hey there -
I'm using a Vizio GV42LF and I seem to have fixed the problem.
I just worked with the settings, and actually used the Help feature on the remote which helps you sort out the input select issues; I was surprised, but the step by step, "Is the TV on...yes or no", "Is the TV on HDMI1...yes or no", actually fixed the issue.
Now I have volume control on the TV, and can select channels on the set top box, or switch to my HTPC and stereo etc.
The remote itself I find a little cheap; compared to the Vizio remote, it's amazing how hard you have to push the buttons. The Vizio has "soft" buttons whereas the Log. is HARD to press, BUT maybe this is good if you have a little one running around like a madman.
