Xbox 360 my xbox won't show any video and no sound. and in the inside of the xbox it rattles.

It sounds like you may have something stuck inside the console. It may also be that something is off track inside of the console. If little kids are in the area where this console is located there very well might be something stuck inside. Check for rattles in the console. Hope this helps.

It sounds like your xbox is sitting on the ground. Is it? If it is, bad idea. Walking causes the xbox to shake, rattling the game around inside. Also, if it's not on floor, make sure it is sitting horizontal. (some people disagree but mine is good)

Lay the Xbox horizontally on a very sturdy surface. Scratch rings often indicate and Xbox and shaky surfaces ie: floor, wobbly shelf... Walking around and stuff like that can shake the xbox and rattle the disc around inside.

Try opening it up or sending it to an expert, there might be something inside of it.

turns out after a bit of fiddling around that there is a switch on the 360 elite's VGA cable that you can switch on and off, i never knew they had these switches because it is my first tme with an elite, machine works fine though so far no freezes or glitches and im playing fallout 3. anyway for allthose that cant get video because of the cord or something make sure you check your VGA TV/HDTV switch, as i missed it too.

check the video cable that connects to the T.V to see if it is damaged, if it is get a new one.
