The error message is nonsense. The real problem is that Snow Leopard will not recognize the Agfa driver. But try installing VueScan software, which will recognize the scanner and is relatively full featured.

I have installed Snow Leopard on my Mac and my Snapscan Touch AGFA will not work. This is the message I get on opening -
ScanWise can not find the current ColorSync System Profile. Please recalibrate your monitor or select another system profile with ColorSync Control Panel
