Question about Flat Panel Televisions
Hi, I've bought a HYUNDAI HLT 32 v2 LCD and I need a manual. It was a "showing set" so they didn't have the manual left for me when I bought the TV. Is there one I can download from somewere?
My TV suddenly shuts down( if I even get it to start to begin with!), sometimes after a few seconds and somtimes I'm allowed to watch for a couple of minutes. '
I suspect some setting are not proper. Perhaps there is a button for change all settings to as they where from the beginning?
Originally it worked.
SOURCE: lcd tv shuts down by its self
I had the ame problem.
Un plug set and with a small clean paint brusk clen out the all the air grills at the rear of the set. Mine looked clean but i manged to get a great deal of "hard" dust out of then using this method.
Hope this helps

This is quite a common problem on LCD televisions.
It is not a fault you can repair yourself unless you are a competent electronics engineer.
One of the transformers on the inverter board will be the cause as the tend to go open circuit. Being surface mounted adds to the dificulty of changing this item as well.

If the set is practically new, it should be under warranty. If not, it is likely that the replacement panel will cost almost *** much as the original cost of the set. If out of warranty, carefully open up the set and reseat all of the cables and connections. That may resolve the problem. If not, the problem could be in the processing area too.
Keep us posted.

I had the same issue....thankfully, I had purchased an extended warranty from Best Buy...I had been in a panic, because I NEVER thought I would pay a grand for a tv, but I LOVE it...anyway.....I had the "Geek Squad" come to look at the tv....the tech took 30 secs....there is a problem with your Y-SUS (Y-sustain board)...it will need to be replaced...and...the tech called another tech, and he advised that the Z-SUS be replaced as well (apparently he had to go back to the same home after a Y-SUS replacement to change out a failed Z-SuS).....retail on Y-SUS is about $300...ebay has them for less than half that, if you think you can do it yourself...keep in mind that "Maxent" is a Zenith/LG product, so finding parts might be a challenge if you base it upon Maxent....hope this helps!!
