Question about Sony Ericsson M600i Cellular Phone
I only just purchased a M600i and every few seconds it restarts its self and provides the note that "the phone has restarted to increase the phones perfomance" it does this continiously very anoying. Any way to fix this problem as its not even 2 days old.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
It seems your phone is running out of memory.
M600i comes with 60 to 80 MBs internal memory. The phone treats larger part of the memory as RAM. And UIQ3 the OS on this phone retains the applications in its RAM once it is opened till you go to Task manager and press exit program. Thus, phone has no other option but to restart to free some memory and show the above message. In your case as you've said the phone restarts after few seconds try this as soon as it starts and home screen appears:-

Hi - it seems that you have the same issue as many other M600 owners, the first few releases had a poor firmware.
If you reflash your phone, you should be ok - but be careful as yours is NOT standard GSM phone - it is PDA.
