Question about RCA 13R400TD 13" TV
IT KEEPS SHUTTING OFF AND WILL GO ON SOMETIMES YOU TRY AND PUT IT BACK ON.
It's a sign of a failing capacitor or transistor. It is not user serviceable part. The problem is intermitent but will exhibit itself after the unit has been on for sometime. Warranty of these units are usually 90 days labor and 1-year parts. On a sale, a 13" TV can be bought under $75. May not be worth repairing especially when a service facility charges diagnosis fee to open and zero in on the problem.
On your next TV purchase, you may want to register it here at fixya and avail of their extended warranty.
