Sir,
I tried to charge my Motorola Razr V3i in my computer with USB Cable. Battery is Ok. Charging light is also on . But after 5 min the message is showing unable to charge. Pls advice me how to charge my mobile
When we connect the phone to PC it automatically start charging but after 5 mins it stops its because we do not take any kind of action i.e. if you will send some files to phone or will operate phone from PC it will keep charging otherwise as you have said it will stop.

What you are describing is that there is an issue with the USB charging port on your V3i. Different pins are used when charging via the wall as opposed to via a USB computer port. It really is quite common with the V3i, you can search on the internet to get your port repaired. If you cannot find anyone, feel free to ontact me, outlet3g in the repair directory.
When you plug in the cable to the phone and then to your computer, you should see the green charging Light on the upper portion of your phone, If you do not, Remove the Cable from the phone, then open the Battery compartment, remove the Battery, Examine it for leakage, or damage, if the Battery appears ok, then reseat it in the phone, secure the battery door, and replug in the usb Cable. If the Green light does not come on, try a different USB Jack on your computer. If you have Tried the Wall Charger for your phone and the green light does not come on after following the 1st step listed above, you probably need a new Battery. then you need to contact Motorola at Motorola.com click on Consumer, then Support and send them a request for help on replacing the battery. Let me know if you need further help.. :-)
Try checking the usb cable. Some usb cables aren't made so you can charge your phone. Believe it or not but usually the cheaper cables are the ones that work for charging my motorola razr v3 phone. If that doesn't work, check to see if you didn't mess up the interface when you plugged into the phone.
