Probably nothing wrong with your laptop. You have no drivers installed for your laptop and windows, being a silly OS, cannot run.

Dvd backup of os

You will need to run the Recovery Media Creator application provided by Toshiba with your laptop if you do not have a backup / recovery disk. The instructions for doing this are documented in the User Guide for the Toshiba Satelite L755D on the Toshiba Support web site. . . . .The User Guide is a PDF document contained in a ZIP archive.

Hello I have a problem with my Toshiba Satellite L300D. When I start the laptop it shows just a black screen. I hear it working but the display shows nothing. Also it is really hot near the fan, but I can...

try to attach an external monitor and see if it works ..if it does it means that something is wrong with the screen ..either the ribbon or the back-light or something like that ..
do not forget to activate the external monitor with Fn +F4
if it do not work with external monitor either ..than probably its the ram memory or the video card ..I wil open the back where the ram memory is ..and remove them and put them back ..If you have more than on e..just insert one at the time cause one might be damaged ..
also try to insert a operation system disk ..and see if it boots from the disk this case you just messed with the video card settings ..but I doubt cause it should show at least some writing before going blind.. but if it do not show anything its usually from the display ..(in this case will work with an external one ..)

My laptop ate my disk

The CD drive is secured by a small small screw which is located on the under side of the laptop, it normally has a small picture od a cd next to it, if you remove the screw you can slide out the CD drive.
once you have remover the CD drive you can undo the small screws on either side of the CD drive and open the drive and remove the cd, reverse the steps to put it back in the laptop.
However please take care and be gentle
hope this helps
