Question about Video Cameras
I need to remove the date and the time stamp from thedisplay area while recording so that it will not appear on the actual video, what do I do?
Hi, go thru the menu on the camera and look for autodate and turn it off. Thats how it's set up on my Sony camcorder. Hope this helps,, Mechanic

I have an opposite problem. I WANT the timestamp to appear in the DVD but it does not. What should I do to make it appear?

That didn't work for me, no matter how many times I try that it only turns it off on the display on the monitor, not the recorded video. Anyone got anyother suggestions?
