Question about Philips DVP5982
I cannot get my western digital 500 gig HDD to work when i plug it in via usb. every time i try i get a device not compatible error. it's bugging me becasue that's the only reason i bought this dvd player advice anyone?
You can use that HD or any Hard Drive for that matter, only thing is, that you have to have it formatted in FAT32 format, not NTFS which it probably is by default nowadays. There is a program called swissarmy and it will format any drive to fat32, and you will be able to store whatever u want on there like a normal drive, basically u wont notice a difference except the fact that now it works with your dvd player.
