Question about Zenith C27A24T 27" TV
Ok this TV has 4 plugs in the back. The Cable Antenna, The Video Input, One Audio Input, and a Speaker Out plug. Now I plugged I my xbox 360 in jammed a few buttons and presto! It works. The next night I plug it in and can't get it to work. The weird part to is that there is NO video input or any input other then the Cable Plug. So I looked on the TV and Remote and there is no AVI/Input switch buttons. There is none so please don't tell me there is a button because I know there isn't. I tried all buttons numerous times. Is there a secret way to switch the modes to the video in? When my 360 was working I think it was on a normal channel. I tried 1/2/3/4 and tried to go to 00 which is usually a different input. I tried many things and it doesn't work!!! Please help. Only thing I have which I think might work is my Ch. Preview button on the remote but I tried and it isn't working. Please help!!!
I had the same tv at my motel and wanted to hook up my Wii. Turning to Channel 999 worked.

All you have to do is auto program channels while your A/V Device is connected and you can add AUX to the channel line up in the menu when your using AUX. Or like he said tune to channel 999.

I was able to reprogram my tv with the guest remote. What I did was pop the front cover off of the remote, looks like the internal part of the remote is the same, just the buttons and face plate are different, then just pushed the smaller buttons in between the timer and alarm button, this is the menu button. Below the ch preveiw button is the adj right and then all the way to the left in the same row is the adj left. Then go through the menu and have your aux input on and hooked to the TV and turn the auto program on. The TV found my input.
Hope this helps.

Of the 4 black buttons, the one furthest to the right is a setup menu. Press it and setup will appear. Pressing it again switches to a different set up menu. The button beside it (3rd from the left) will move you through the menu items and the one beside that (2nd from the left) will select a menu item.
UNPLUG the coax cable in the back for cable TV. Plug in your XBox and turn it on. Use the menus to select Auto Program. Choose On Air Cable TV (or something like it). The set will go through and find the channel your XBox is coming through on. You'll have to repeat the process to get cable back, but it will do the trick.

Got it to work.. on a Zenith concierge TV. What I did was the above suggestions as far as un-hooking the coax, hooking up the rca cables, then doing an auto program search for channels. After it finished it said "0" Channels found, I almost gave up then I hooked the Coax back up and saw a red "AUX" in upper right hand of screen. I then rebooted my Xbox and "BAM!" i saw the big white and green "X" i was so desperate to see. Good luck yall it will work!

Need to program the tv

At a hotel in Overland Park, KS, we ran into a similar problem with a Zenith H2530Y Concierge Series TV. We had a portable DVD player and wanted to hook it up to the TV. The audio and video in RCA ports on the back seemed inaccessible using our "Guest Remote."
Upon further investigation, we discovered that the buttons from the master remote were disabled only by the cover of the remote. We popped off the cover using a dime. The button between Timer and Alarm opens up the menu, and the right and left buttons beneath the Ch Preview button are for adjusting.
So, we're going to search for channels and hope that it finds the RCA inputs on the back. In order for this to work, you must first unplug the RF cable. Additionally, you're going to search within the Cable-TV input. If you've done things correctly, it will search and find 0 channels. Then, it will default to the Aux channel, which is what you want.
See our Youtube video which offers a more descriptive explanation. Just search on Youtube for "Zenith H2530Y RCA input."

So I'm reading these solutions and had to say "you've got to be kidding me". So I dug in my box of universal remotes and found one that had an input select button. I programmed the remote to this TV (code 0017) and presto, I now can select any input. Got remotes?

Got it working for a driect tv box! but didn't use RCA cables.
I struggled with this for about an hour.... It didn't help that it is 32 inch TV. Plus it's in an enclosure mounted 6 feet off the floor. Zenith sucks... but I got the input working.
In the menu (accessed from the front of the tv) I selected "cable 2" then used coaxial, then turned the TV to channel 4.

Agh. I spent hours on this. I eventually used the menu button on the front of the TV, scrolled through to features, and was able to select an input from there. Unbelievably frustrating, but it works now. I guess you have to go through that menu to find the input every time you switch between TV and movies.
