Question about Lasko 5540 Ceramic Compact Heater

1 Answer

No power My heater worked perfectly. Tried to turn it on one day and nothing happened. I unplugged it...........waited 10-15 minutes and still nothing. Did this several times. I've never had any problems with it till now. There is no red light to show it's getting power of any kind. Don't know what to do. Any ideas?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Can't set temperature

first go turn breakers off at indoor unit or if gas turn switch or unplug for thirty seconds.should be a hold button on thermostat , set desired temperature and press hold allow five minutes to go by.listen doen anything at all happen at unit.
if nothing happens after five minutes remove sub-base from wall and at the thermostat jump with a wire the r terminal and the white terminal see if it comes on if so you got a bad thermostat most likely.

I have the "please wait"

The problem is associated with the Laser / Drive Mechanism.

I take it they told you to :-

1) Unplug and leave for a few minutes.

2) With the On/Off Button Pressed, Plug in and wait for the unit to reset.

If you've done this and still get the same fault then it requires further investigation by an engineer but not necessarily an LG one.

Cannon printer quit working suddenly.

Is it possible that the cord came unplugged from the transformer itself instead of the printer or wall plug?
A power outage shouldn't affect it, but a power surge can. Please use surge protection circuits on your computer equipment. It's so much cheaper than repairing or replacing them.
Take it from someone who learned the hard way....
You can try a printer reset. Turn the printer off, unplug the power and data cables from the machine. Wait at least ten minutes to allow the printer cache to be purged.(Canon's recommendation)
Then plug back in and turn on.
I hope this works for you! Good luck!

Can't connect!

First of all... Unplug the modem, unplug the Airport (WiFi router) and turn off the Airport connectivity in your MacBook.
After 5 full minutes... Plug in the modem.
Wait 2 full minutes... Plug in the Airport.
Wait 1 full minute... Turn on the Airport connectivity in your MacBook.
After all of that...
If you're still not back up and running and you're using an Apple Airport, open the Applications folder, open Utilities, open Airport Utility.
If you're using any other type of WiFi router, use the Network Diagnostics button that should show up in the web browser window when you try to go to any website.
