Re: phone shuts off when using camera

Have you tried to MAster Clear and Master Resset your phone?
And after you Performed The Master Clear And Master Resset of your phone, and you still have the prob.
Go to the Nearby Cellphone Re-pair shop and try to change your Camera or LCD.

Razr v3r lcd

I would first try resetting the phone through the settings menu. Make sure you backup your data first, since the reset will wipe it clean.

If that doesn't work, you most likely have a loose cable inside of the phone. You can take it apart yourself and find the culprit, or take it to a shop for a cheap repair.

Camera problem

1) Open the back of your Razr by removing the back cover
2) You do not need to remove the battery
3) You'll notice a little gold switch below the battery on the right-hand side
4) The gold switch should be in the left position
5) Move the gold switch from the left to the right and back again to the left
6) Replace the back cover, and try your camera now.

I don't know why this worked for me, but I 18 photo remaining again.

Hope this works for you, good luck.

Razr V3 Camera

most of the time you will need to replace the camera on the phone. First try to do a master reset and a master clear on your phone (warning master clear will erase EVERYTHING on the phone a reset just takes the settings back to when the phone was bought) this is in your settings menu under initial setup and is towards the bottom. if that doesn't solve the problem you can buy a new camera at (use the 19.50 shipping or else it takes forever)

My Razr Isn't Aware that it is Closed

most flip phones, or flip anythings use magnets and sensors to detect if they're closed or not. Let's do a little experiment. Take a magnet. Now, run that magnet just above and right of the opened RAZR keypad. If your phone acts like it's been closed, then there's nothing wrong with the sensor. That's a GOOD thing. All that needs replacing is the magnet in the top part of the phone. It's located the bottom right of an open phone below the screen, right beside the camera on the inside. Replacing it is as simple as going to and ordering a new one. (you'll need a T7 driver to open the top part of the housing) If it doesn't shut off then the sensor itself is shot. As far as I know, there's no where on the net to get a replacement component for it.
