My pc is not reading my lg kf600 phone only charging battery,connected to pc thru usb cable.

connect ur phone by data cable to the computer usb connector and select data storage.it will charge ur phone.

If you are unable to use your memory card, your LG CU515 has a data cable connection which supports charging and mass storage mode.

Once you connect your phone to your PC with this cable, you should be able to transfer your pictures.

USB Connection Mode:
You can transfer files between a compatible PC to
the memory in your phone using the Mass
Storage. When you connect the phone to a PC
using the USB cable, this will be displayed as a
removable disk through Windows Explorer.

After connecting your phone to your computer with the data cable on your computer, click: START > Computer > and look for the phone in the list of storage devices.

On your PC, double click on the icon that identifies your phone - and locate the folder where the picture's on your phone are located. Then double click on your picture's folder on your PC. Simply drag and drop the pictures from your phone to your PC.

my phone does this too. i dont have the same one but when charging just try to hold the power button down

u can use the mobile as mass storage mode without pc suit............just connect them and in mobile screen select mass storage then
after in pc tray the device installed and ready to use will appear then u can access them

i have the same problem with mine. for me it's easier to just connect through usb and not bother with the pc suit. this way you can access both external and internal folders. adding music is just easy as drag and drop

Well it does, I don't know what had happen to your cable but mine works...it automatically charges my phone every time I connects the cable to my PC.
There might be something wrong with your cable's charging capability or with your phones charging port.
Try to look for some switches if there is. But I think the problem is your Data cable's capability to charge.

plz connect the data wire to the phone and also connect it to the PC go to connectivity and choose pc suite or data transfer or data storage or mass storage

I have successfully install some applications on LG KF600.
0. Install application - LG Mobile Sync (to verify the driver in Control panel- system- Hardwave Device- Modem- LGXXX). If it did not show up, well it is normal. You may need to restart PC after installaion.
1. Select the USB conection (for LG KF600) from the connectivity option
2. Connect USB cable (connect to PC first) from PC to USB port of LG KF600.
NOte : your will see "portable disk" on your phone.
If you did not see it. Please stop.

3.Check My computer (from PC). Is there any NEW Removeable device appear ? Unplug and plug again from the phone and you will see it.
4. In your Removealbe device (phone), you will see 5 folder (actualy from Phone -My Stuff )
5.Copy files from PC to desired folder (phone).

I fixed my problem of my HTC touch not Syncing with my phone thru the USB cable.
Go to
Start, Settings, System, Power, Advanced and select/enable the option that says "When device is turned on, do not charge the battery when connected to the PC."
If it still does not work at first then disconnect the USB from your PC/device, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in.
You'll suddenly see your phone and your PC syncing.
