I have a Sanyo model # DS35590. I put it on video1 channel to watch a dvd. My kids lost the remote before I could take it off the video channel. Now I can not change it. I tried from the menu button, and nothing. I also tried programming a universal remote to the tv, and still nothing. Please help

Stuck in video1 and video 6 mode. Can't get to tv

ok, all sony sets for the last 20 years or so have had a reset feature that ought to clear this up:

Set turned off and using Sony original remote:

Display, 5, volume up, power-----listen carefully this should take you to the tech menu.

hit 8 and reset should appear on the screen in red

hit enter and the reset should turn to green and set shut off.

Turn back on and see if it cured the issue or not.

How do i set my Toshiba ct-90157 remote to watch dvd's

Most DVD players are connected to one of the rear audio/video inputs--hook to that input and select it on the TV--then hit play and if connected correctly you will see the movie.

What channel do i put the tv on in order to watch

it really depends on which input you plugged it into, if you plugged into the cable connection make sure on the dvd player it says output for that connection, if it says input then you can't use it as an output, a lot of the new ones are made that way. use the rca outputs and plug it into the input on your tv, then switch the input from your remote and you should see it pop up, should say input 1, input 2, frnt, and others, those are actually channels

you'll have to rescan or run the auto-program feature in the tv main menu, and if you still have the original remote transmitter you can select video1 or vid2 depending on which input is being used for the dvd player and the dvd recorder.

Try changing channels down lower than ch.2 and it should go to a Video channel, or Video1 or Video2, etc. One of those will be for the input where you plugged in the Red/White/Yellow cable.
Or there could just be a TV/Video button on the front of the set.

Lost the controller for Pioneer rear projection TV

Try pressing the "Input" button the front of the set. That should allow you to change between the different inputs. The return button usually returns you to the previous channel you were watching - don't think it works for the input though. Also, depending on the model of the set you have, try downloading the PDF user or owners manual - it will tell you how to use the remote.
