Have you had the system reprogrammed? The security system is locking you out.

I have a 1999 dodge caravan, the key won't turn in the ignition

sounds like either the key or the lock cylinder is worn out
if you have a spare key try it
if it wont turn it you need a new lock cylinder with new keys

98 dodge caravan ignition key wont turn steering wheel is unlocked, how do i remove the key core if it wont turn?

Remove the shroud cover, and the plastic ring around the lock cylinder.WD-40 the lock cylinder, Put the key in the ignition. Rap(Hard) on the back of the key while try to turn key. If it turns leave it in the ON(not run)and I'll tell you how to remove the cylinder.(If You need). The cylinder NEEDS to be replaced.

Have 4 keys for my 98 dodge caravan, but none of them work anymore all of a sudden. I pulled into my parking lot, grabbed a few things, went back to my van, and now the key won't turn. I tried all four!

Sounds like your Ignition cylinder failed. it needs to be replaced.

2003 Dodge Caravan Battery?

Sounds like time for new battery, give it a full charge & have it tested, but have alternator checked as well, even though it appears alternator is o.k. because it runs, but just in case it's an intermittent problem with alternator

Put in key it wont turn.

sounds like you have a frozen lock cylinder. you can try spraying some wd-40 or lube into the key slot and tapping on the ignition and it might free up temporarily but you will most likely have to replace the lock cylinder

Cooling fans keeps running even when the keys are out ot the ignition. its a 1997 dodge caravan 4 cylinder

some cars fans are meant to run for a min or so after you shut it off. my saab does that. it always shuts off.

does it click when you turn the key or do you get nothing? if nothing its prob. the starter. mine went last month and sounded similar
