This problem occurs when there is some problem with the firmware, it can be happen If you turn off the system or remove the memory stick
during an update. If an update is cancelled before completion, the
system software may become damaged. if so, you''ll have psp with blank on screen. try remove all plugin MS, Umd, etc, then press bright button of psp. if isn't work you need pandora battery to downgrading your firmware. hope this help.
Does the PSP have oe firmware... and did you try to reflash with another theme? If so try restarting with the right shoulder button pressed down to access the recovery menu and if you google 'semi-bricked PSP' that will show how to re-flash to firmware 1.5! Alternatively the screen my need replacing, which is a relatively easy job. As an ameteur I did it in 5 mins!
it probably froze try and remove battery. if that dont work turn it on and wait a second then hold the power switch in the off position but do not let go until it turns off that should completey restart it.
