OH MY GOD,,,,,THE UNDEN BCT15 IS SUPPOSED TO BE A GREAT SCANNER,,,,MANY OF MY AREA FREQUENCIES ARE ALREADY PROGRAMMED. ALL I WANT TO DO IS ADD THE POLICE DEPARTMENT THAT I WORK FOR...CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO SIMPLY ADD A FREQUENCY?????????? PLEASE HELP

Wow - that's an oldie. Your scanner has 18 channels, and it's easy to program once you know how. Here's a link to the manual for your scanner. You can download and print the document and learn all of features of the BC210XL.
If you mean what is on a particular channel that say the police in your area is on then go to http://www.nationalradiodata.com/resources-frameset.jsp?resources-citiesandcounties.html . Type in that complete address and it will bring you to a page where you click on the state you live in and if you want to go by city or county frequecies.
[MENU] Program System F Select a conventional system F Edit Group F Select a channel group F Edit Channel F Select the channel F Edit Frequency F Use the  to  and [.No] keys to enter or modify a frequency. When you press the first place key, the cursor automatically moves one character to the right. You can also , clockwise or counter-clockwise to highlight any digit.
