Re: PC Maclan for Visat
Ok i did some research on your product and here is what i found.
Maclan is only compatible up to windows xp. So this does not include windows vista. Now the reason is, is that the company "CA" is no longer selling this product and has discontinued making this product. So therefor before windows vista came out, they had already discontinued the product, therefore providing no update for compatibility with windows vista. Here is a website address confirming this.

Sorry, but the G4 and G5 desktops have chipsets released prior to the Intel agreement allowing pc's with CoreDuo and Macs with DualCore chips to exchange data, even though Virtual PC for G3 through G5 chipsets did work in running MS OS's prior to Vista, including XP, on mac platforms.
Now, if this helps, you might be able to secure an older version of Virtual PC, since your version works on current Macs and PCs with Vista, to run XP on your G4 and G5.
Vista is going to get a new filesystem soon, so by switching to that you should have your work cut out for you. Alternately, you can use drive encryption (there's a clear winner, and it's free software) and certainly accomplish what Drive Erase Pro did.
The most direct way to erase whole drives is using the maker's utilities, though; go to Seagate, Hitachi etc. and download their drive test etc. utilities. One of the options is erase!
Hey, try to write complete sentences when you write.
Don't fear griffin is here.
First thing mounting a file(image of a cd) means loading the file to the virtual drive which is created by your daemon tool.Go to daemon tool in the task bar ,rt click ,see an option asking no of virtual drives u want maybe 1 or 2.select 1 or 2.
This will result in found new hardware utility to work automatically and new drives will be formed in your My computer panel.
Now ,again go to daemon tool and according to the drive name mount the image(which are in the format .nrg/.iso/.bin/.mds/.ccd) from your system onto the drive.
now you will have flight simltr cd in ur drive and can install from it easily.
waiting for ur fixya.
