Ringing Tone Help me, I am not able to set MP3 format ringtones on my Nokia 6600. Evrytime it shows "Ringing Tone Format Not Supported!". But I am able to listen to the songs and ringtones which are in MP3 format through MP3 Player.

Just copy the ringtone in phone memory which you want to set. It will give you option to set it as ringtone.

Hi.this problem cant be solved by copying the ringtones to phone memory.actually nokia 6600 was never made to play mp3 ringtones.for playing mp3 ringtones u need to download Mp3 plugins from any software site or from a cell market.i have done it on my cell phone.check mobango.com for plugins.take care

Well by default nokia 6600 dont support for mp3 ringtones.it supports wav, mid.there for you can use audio converters to convert your mp3 files to wav files...you can download so many audio converter + cutter from internet...but if you want mp3 files to played as ringtone you need to get a 3rd party software to play mp3 ringtone........

Nokia 6600 doesn't support setting MP3 as a ringtone. You'd better change it to other formats like WAV. By the way, the size of the music file can also decide whether you can set it as ringtone or not as well. If you meet this problem, then you should cut MP3 files with Windows Media Player.
