Mini-SD card corruption?

I have the Sprint PCS CDMA Touch.

Only recently did this happen. I have a 2gb Patriot Mini-SD card. One day I noticed that all of my folders and files on the card were gone and all that was left were some folders with gibberish names. Furthermore, any programs and program links relating to software installed to the card were not working. My backup file wasn't touched so I did a quick restore and all was fine. This happened a second time recently and now the backup file is gone (learned my lesson: put a copy of the backup on my PC as well) with the same "gibberish" folders and files in place. Later in the evening I downloaded Picsel Browser directly to the card and later went to install it, only to find that everything that had disappeared and re-appeared (the "gibberish folders and files remained-one even has a date of 9/27/95!). So I felt all was well. The next morning I noticed that everything was gone again, except for the IE temporary items, WMDRM, cookies, history folders. What's really weird is I would check in on the card and notice duplicates of these folders (not the "gibberish" ones) and immediately later the duplicates are gone. I've tried a few different things to no avail, including I've even made sure that my mail attachments and IE temporary files are saved to the device and not on the card. I removed the IE temporary files folder on the card, as well. I've done resets, removing and putting back in the card, reformatting the card and putting my stuff back in, etc. Same results.

I believe all of my original folders and files are STILL on the card but something is causing issues with it being read like it's supposed to be. I use both the native file explorer as well as Total Commander and ActiveSync/Windows XP shell explorer to look in on the card.

Nothing on the device itself is affected. I've posted this problem on a couple of PPC phone forums but haven't seen much of anything in the way of potential solutions. One person suggested that it's a WRITE problem. I haven't added much of anything lately. The only thing I noticed that the problem occurred after I started playing with Windows Live Mobile (admittedly, while the battery was in low level warning status). I did remove the WLM cache folder from the card and set WLM to place its cache on the device, but to no avail. This is either a power-to-the-card-slot problem or a read/write issue.

Samsung sph m220. how do I remove the sim card?

That phone is a CDMA phone and does not use a SIM card. Sprint phones and Verizon phones are CDMA and do not use SIM cards. AT&T and T-Mobile use SIM cards, but are GSM phones, a whole different technology/signal. Nextel phones do have SIM cards, and some "World" phones at Verizon have SIM cards for traveling overseas where there is no CDMA, but your Samsung SPH-M220 has NO SIM card.
Just in case you want to check anyway, here is a link to the user's manual:

I have a palm treo pro 850 cdma sprint locked... how do i unlock it to use it in india?

you cant use CDMA phones in India, because CDMA phones don't have a SIM card option. They use GSM phones in India which use SIM cards.

I have a htc touch phone and i put all my pics on the storage card, and than one day all pics where gone and nowi cant even save my pics to the storage card.. and now there is storage card , and storage...

Why this happens:
If for any reason your phone cannot find the SD card on boot it will create a folder on your Phone's Memory called 'Storage Card' to put the Temp Files, Pictures, Music, etc into. Now as soon as the SD card becomes available, since there is already a folder called 'Storage Card', it is forced to name the "Real" SD Card 'Storage Card 2'.
Solution: Delete the "Storage Card" folder and soft reset. If the phone finds the "Real" SD Card, it will be named 'Storage Card' again. If for some reason it is not found, you might have a corrupt SD Card that needs to be reformatted. This would of course loose all the information on the card, so hopefully this is not the case. Warning: If you have pictures or other files in the 'Storage Card' directory, you will want to move them to 'Storage Card 2' before deleting 'Storage Card'. Use the 'File Explorer' found in your 'Programs' to do this. Good luck!

Lot of trouble

Some of my thoughts to share: 1) It detects SD and mini-SD. To view > Program > File Explorer > My Device 2) To save attachments on storage. Press the Mail shortcut button > Tools > Options > Storage > Tick Store attachments on storage cards 3) Screen is well protected by the flip cover 4) Back is made of anti-scratch materials
