There is a symbol on my phone that i don't understand and it will not go away. It looks like the letter E with a green line and a red line underneath of it. What does it mean?

Click menu, go to tools. Tools has a spanner symbol. Its the first icon on the second line of your phone menu.
Click settings. Settings, also has a spanner symbol. Its also the first icon on the second line of the Tools menu.
Click General. General is the first on the list under settings.
Click
personalization. Personalization is also the first on the list under
General. It has a paint symbol/icon with red, green and blue dots.
Scroll down by pressing the down navigation button four (4) times and you will get to language.
Click
it and the first option on the list is "Phone language". Press it and
you will see a list of your phone languages, scroll to Arabic and
select it and that would be all.
Follow the above direction and you will certainly get to Arabic language under the phone language.
If you don't find Arabic amongst phone language, then it means you cannot change the language to English because it's not all language that you will find under phone language. There are limited languages there. I hope you find Arabic.

take off predictive text... either keep the star key or the hash key tioll you see the symbol in the top corner with the letters underlined, when the line underneath them goes then predictive text is off

Now a days every cellphone supports GPRS or Packet Data connection.If your phone packet data connection is checked to always online..phone always shows small E symbol besides the signal strenth indicator.So turn off Packet data connection from your phone settings.
lg 9100 keybo i cant figure out a symbol showing on my phone , its in between the sd card symbol and the music symbol. it looks like 2 texts symbols, but there not. almost looks like a letter on top of another
can we see a picture of that?? I dont understand whatyour saying about the lines.. Are they differant colors or all red and do they make the pic bow?? does the pic look or have a reddish tinge to it?? is ther too much red in the picture??? Please let us know or let us see??
