Hi folks!! My mi optical mouse often has windows rolling and scrolling in a rolling motion over the page. The scrolling is hard to stop!!! And the rolling motion of the page is most annoying! Any thoughts how to ameliorate this problem? Many, many thanks in advance!!! I have another problem and that is though Adobe Flash Player downloads into my Linux Redhat/Suse Operating System, I cannot use this program, it just won't work, and this disables my ability to IM on Yahoo and on a dating site and to view streaming videos that I get in emails and the like!!! This is most disturbing and frustrating too!!! Any help that you could offer would be sincerely appreciated!!! Thanks again greatly , in advance!! VK , NJ

This problem of your computer is not due to mouse, i believe your computer is responding slow due to some reasons:
1. Lot of application installed on it, do uninstall software you dont want. 2. Clean the temporary file from your computer 3. Check and Remove hard disk errors 4. Check and clean virus/spyware
You can get helps from this web site as well
Hope this helps, if so do rate the solution

HP Optical Mouse Curser jumps around

I respectfully disagree with amusedgeek. He is correct aout the textured surface, though.Optical mice will take snapshots many times a second and reposition the cursor according to where the pattern was last. Rather than a single color, a pattern is your best bet for an optical mouse. The only thing I recommend is to make sure the mousepad isn't reflective at all- no glossy or semi-glossy surface. You want it to be non-reflective. Just to be sure there is nothing wrong with the mouse, you can test it simply by putting it on a newspaper and scrolling around.
