Problem for Micro Innovations IC50C Basic Personal Web Camera

My Micro Innovations optical mouse (with wire) has become sluggish lately. It just doesn't keep up with my hand's movement. I haven't changed the pad it sits on, but I have cleaned it (didn't help). I don't know what model it is, but it has a 9-digit serial number on its belly and it's made in China.

Open the door on the bottom and remove the ball. Then using a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol and clean the dirt and grim from the little rods and rollers. Then it should work fine.
