KEY AT LAPTOP TOSHIBA 'PROTEGE MODEL M205-S810,
S-LEFTSHIFT-CONTLOR NOT WORKING WHEN PRESSING KEYBOARD, BUT WORKING AT SCREEN TOUCH KEYBOARD.
HOW CAN I FIX THIS.
I've got a stuck "e" key. Told I would have to replace whole keyboard. Bought a USB key board and it does the same thing. Must be pc or drivers. Any suggestions? NK
I do agree with melnavz here: you need to clean the keyboard first off. However, i don't think it's necessary to clean each key by key because taking keys off is rather tricky. You can replace individual keys on a laptop keyboard instead of having to replace the whole thing only if you have extra keys stashed somewhere. Nonetheless, another keyboard really shouldn't cost all that much if it is the problem.

You need to clean the keyboard. Blow it with air blower so that the paricles inside keyboard will be eliminated. If not work, then you disassemble the keyboard and clean the key one by one. afraid to do , then let the repairman do it for you or you can attach USB keyboard for the laptop.
