HP compaq nx6125 windows vista 64 bit

http://www.daileyint.com/hmdpc/overheat.htm

This site has a some info on that.
I must say that all laptops get hot but the shutting off is worrisome. Try placing it on a raised surface that does not block the air vents and have a fan or something to circulate some cool air around it.

HP NX6125 mouse running away

I've had this problem with my Dell laptop before, it sounds like you have a phyiscal problem with your touchpad. I had to disable the touchpad within the mouse settings in control panel and either use my pointing stick or an external mouse.

This should work...

My hp nx6125 when playing audio stammers and breaks up?

Okay, the driver for the sound card (hal.dll) needs to be reinstalled.

Do the following:

Press the windows key and R
Type in command
In the command prompt that comes up:
Type in cd C:\Windows\System32\
Type in taskkill /f /im "hal.dll"
Type in del hal.dll
Then restart your computer

What taskkill does is kill the sound card application that is using the driver so you can delete it. After your system restarts, Windows will automatically reinstall the sound card driver, and the problem will be fixed!

Ubuntu already have all available drivers inside OS.
If it couldn't find specific driver for your laptop, means it doesn't exist.
