There is a THERMAL fuse that is used to prevent fires and electrical destruction of the unit. Lamps get very hot and unless the AIR flow is good, the temperature gets too hot and shuts down the system. The fan speed may be too low, the unit may need to be cooled down with an exterior fan? Try options.

From what you describe, it sounds like a fan isn't working. When you turn on a projector, it will go through a quick self test--checking that everything is operating correctly. Some of the fans send out a signal to the main board telling it that they are running. If no signal is received, the board senses this and auto-shut down occurs to protect the unit from heat damage. The errant fan could be spinning but the computer pulse might not be being generated. It will require a tech to find this out.
i just replace the lamp, and don't have any light coming from lens, starting green (after a few seconds, green become to flash), then turning on orange and lamp light flashing...please i need help, fan working perfect...i don't have a remote,is a problem, or not
only 3 things cause no light: bad lamp, bad ballast, bad colorwheel, or bad fan. if you feel the fan blowing and the lamp is good, do you hear a high pitched whir? if yes, the colorwheel works and it may be the ballast. if not, or it chirps, it's the colorwheel.
I have the same problem with my projector (Proxima UltraLight X350). I have the firmware v1.34.
On my projector, I found a workarround : if I press the 'top arrow' button on the projector at the message prompt, this one simply disapears and the projector works for hour. The drawback is the red led that don't stop blinking.
Can you cooperate and tell us if this solution worked on your projector ? Please also join the firmware version (found in the service menu, with the lamp life). Cordially,
