Go into your firewall and forward ports, and do the same in your router. Depending on what it is that your're trying to do. In the firewall permit what you need: ie: filesharing, ect, forward the ports, and then go into your router, and forward those same ports. EXAMPLE: 192.168.1.1 port 50095 ( both tcp/udp ) to port 50095 then do the same in the firewall.

I can't change the nat type for ps3 or call of duty black ops how do i change the nat type

When you do a connection test on your PS3, what NAT type shows up; 1, 2, or 3. If you're worried about the STRICT NAT type in Black Ops, don't worry about it, the problem is the game and not your router.

How can you change NAT type from strict please

Strict NAT is due from not setting up Port Forwarding correctly.

Do a google search for your router model, port forwarding and 360. Example "linksys brsf54g port forwarding 360"

My nat settings are strict and I don't know how to change them to open?

Using your Internet browser, you can access the Router’s Web-Based Advanced User Interface. In your browser, type “192.168.2.1” (do not type in anything else such as “http://” or “www”). Then press the “Enter” key.
You will get a set up page where you can disable NAT

Ok my nat type is strict and i am trying to change to open

You want the NAT open for X-box ?

For X-box you will need to open some ports on the router.

Also you will need to reduce down the MTU on the router to 1365.
That will work.
for this you will need to open the router set up.

I need to change my nat type from strict to open

This router does not have the typical "strict or open" NAT types. Looking at the manual, it looks like what you want is NAT enabled and SUA only enabled.
