Sony KV-28DX30U. my tv wont re-tune!? I had digital channels before the switchover!? Do i need to buy a digital box? It has intergrated digital tv!?

Have you turned your tv to the av input mode?

try to setting your tv in menu! and you can see the menu has air cable tv mode then select the ADD or ERASE mode! you select all channels to ADD mode! or you can auto search the program!

I also have the Sony IDTV KD-28DX4OU Digital TV.After the digital switchover I lost BBC1 and BBC2 despite retuning three times.
I contacted Digital switchover people (useless) and they passed the buck to Sony.I contacted Sony and they said they cannot fix the problem and that I should get a digital set top box. So the £650 I spent on integrated Digital TV has been wasted.If like me your cheesed off with this then I suggest you complain here

Buy a DTV box and a digital antena.
Just follow the directions and hookup.

Go into the setting menu on the tv and go to channel setup,then select add channel.

You need to look on the tv and see if has a digital turner symbol. If you can only pick up analog channels, you need a converter box.

AUTO PROGRAM YOUR CHANNELS. IF PROBLEM PERSISTS REPAIR OR REPLACE TUNER.

is this box on ALL channels or just the one,..

use your tv/video button to change inputs

Press and hold for a few Seconds the 2nd Button from the left on the front of the TV. The auto tune menu will appear on the bottom right of the screen. Wait until it disappears and then check the channels by using the buttons on the remote.
