LG 32LC7D will not display digital channels. Took it to have it repaired, was told the main board needed replacing. Over $350 including parts and labor. Declined repair. Came home, hooked up in my 2nd bedroom, reprogrammed the channels and the digital channels came back. This lasted 1 day. Now no digital again. How could the digital channels go, come and then go again?

Most likely if the digital channels are dropping off then you might just have to replace the tuner. The tuner on this TV is available separately as part number EBL32758001. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks...

My LG LCD TV Model no.32LC7D has blocks of colour on the screen when there is motion. If in a still situation as in a DVD menu, the picture is fine. I have a picture but not sure how I can attach?

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

Lg 32lc7d hdmi no signal

Try another HDMI source (borrow a friend's BluRay for example} to confirm it is the TV at fault. If it still doesn't work, the TV needs a main board replacement because all the HDMI circuitry is on the main board. this usually happens after a power surge or lightning storm, and a near hit is all it takes, Sometimes, if you have a Satellite Receiver it too might be damaged on its HDMI output. So 1st try another source..IF you replace it yourself be sure to find the right board by using the TV's service # example 32LC7D-XX.XXXXXXX.. The letters where I have Xs are very important and must be matched,

Damaged Motherboard. My LG LCD RM-32LZ50 stopped working. I took it to the service and they told me that the motherboard is damaged. They don't have the replacement part. They told me that if I could buy...

I'm assuming they intend to replace the entire circuit board. The only place you are going to get the entire board is from LG or an LG certified repair center.
You do have another option however. Although repairing individual components on circuit boards is not for the faint of heart, it can be done. If it is minor for instance a break somewhere along the tracings it can be done a lot cheaper then replacing the entire board. The hard part is locating one in your area.

In any event I tried to include all the possible links that you can try for assistance.

The first link is probably what you need. It has a listing of all the parts for the RM-32LZ50 that are available . You will need to identify circuit board (pcb) that needs replacing. There is a total of 5 pcbs. The cost of these are $10.24, $13.26, $15.77, $22.27, $160.05.

The second link is the same site, just the home page so if you have any trouble with the first link use the second one. Click on the "Shop" button the right hand side then input your model#RM-32LZ50.
The third link is self explanatory.

Hope this helps.

Same problem...

If its dead completely no lights nothing to show power at all....then its the power supply. if your seeing a blinking light of some sort its probably a code. you can figure out what it means if you download the service manual.
Dont forget to include an extended warranty to the price of your TV! if you see a tv for 500 with the extended warranty and tax it could cost up to 750$ or more

TV Changing Channels on It's Own

Are you changing channels with the remote? Try taking the battery out of the remote, its buttons might just be getting stuck? If, when changing the channel by hand, it persists, then it is an electrical problem, and you should contact LG to see about getting your unit replaced.
