Is a digital Humidistat? if is not, it should click at some point, make sure when you test that the furnace fan is running and heat is on, then check condensation pump is not full. Also check the 2 wirenuts under the humidifier, another thing to check will be for the presence of a current sensing relay, for this you gonna have to open the furnace blower compartment and look for a 2''x1'' box with a U metal clamp, hanging from one of the wires that feed the blower, sometimes, relocating this relay fix the problem, You can bypass this device for testing.

My bionaire was accidentally kicked to the floor and now doesn't work. Thank you

Are you asking for donations to buy a new one? Call the factory, most likely you will need to send it in for repair.

Need a manual for Danby PHD DHCC6020...how do I get the dehumidifier to work??

Are you sure you have a Danby Humidifier and not a Dehumidifier? As Danby doesn't make humidifiers. At least, not in the US and Canada.
Please advise. Thanks

Hello! please advise what will happen if unit is left running & is out of water?

If the float valve in the water tank is not working properly, by shutting off the unit when it's empty, Leaving it running will probably burn up the pump motor.

Aprilaire 600 was leaking water from bottom of unit...subsequently filter pad replaced and all parts cleaned of residue; drain tube cleaned and is draining...The problem is that water is still dripping...

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

you must have a defective water inlet valve, and its letting water in, just a little.. it maybe dirt in the valve, clogging it.

Replaced water panel and the light keeps blinking to change it agai...model 700

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.
did you hit the reset

Digital Humidifier Control (Model 700): (Automatic or Manual mode) Check system operation and reset Change Water Panel indicator by setting the knob to "Test/Reset". With HVAC blower operating and HVAC calling for heat, humidifier will operate for one minute. DO NOT LEAVE IN TEST MODE AS HUMIDIFIER WILL NOT OPERATE.

I have the HE265B By-Pass Flow-Through Hunidifiers installed in the summer, but it never on, until this fall, I tried to turn, but no water flow through. How can I test it? The contractor is NOT...

first break or loosen the water line connection at the humidifier and if you get water then you know it is something else. While the heat is running and main blower is also running, turn the humidistat from low to high; if you hear a click in the solenoid valve (where you checked the water) then you know it has power and the humidistat works. anything deyond that call a good contractor.
