SECURITY PROBLEM ON SCREEN,IT'S STATED 'ENTER SECURITY CODE'

1. Goto menu
2. Select Settings from menu
3. Choose Security
4. Click the On button below Phone Lock.
5. You will get a screen to enter security code. You can enter any number that you can remember. Then click Confirm button. You will get a message saying Enabled.

Next time when you switch power Off and On a screen will popup saying to enter the security code. Your phone will switch on only when the security code is entered correctly.

To deactivate the security code,
Display the Security Code Setup Screen.
Start to cancel a registrationof the security code.
Enter a new security code. Input a four digit number as security code.

Register your security code.
Now the previous security code is cleared. OK.

Reset Default
From the standby screen, press Menu.
Scroll to and select Settings.
Scroll to and select Reset Settings.
Scroll to and select Master Reset.
A confirmation screen will appear, select Yes.
Enter Security code, press OK.
NOTE: The default security code is 0000.



Clear memory
From the standby screen, press Menu.
Scroll to and select Settings.
Scroll to and select Reset Settings.
Scroll to and select Master Clear.
Scroll to and select desired option:
Handset
Memory Card
A confirmation screen appears, select Yes.
Enter security code, then press OK.
NOTE: By default the security code is 0000.

You can use the master code to change your security code back to what ever you like. When your Nokia handset asks you for the security code simply enter the master code.

If you still have the manual there is generally a security override code like 0000 or 1111 stated inside the manual. If not your supplier (Orange, Vodaphone ect) will have the details for it.

The renewal should be under the help tab of the internet security main screen. After renewing, U should get an email with the new code to enter.

Use Symantec's Norton menu to enter the key.

Locking and Unlocking the Device: FOR LG CU 400

1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
   
   
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
   
   
3. Scroll to and select Security.
   
   
4. Scroll to and select Lock Handset.
   
   
5. Select desired option:
   • When Power On
   • When Smartchip Changed
   • Immediately
   • Off
     
     
6. Enter the Security Code, press OK.
   NOTE: The default security code is 0000.
   

Setting the PIN Code:

1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
   
   
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
   
   
3. Scroll to and select PIN Code Request.
   
   
4. Scroll to and select On.
   
   
5. Enter the PIN code, press OK.
   NOTE: Default PIN code is 1111.
   

Changing the Security Code:

1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
   
   
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
   
   
3. Scroll to and select Change Codes.
   
   
4. Scroll to and select Security Code.
   
   
5. Enter the current Security Code, press OK.
   NOTE: The default security code is 0000.
   
   
6. Enter in the New security code, press OK.
   
   
7. Confirm Security Code, press OK.
   

IMPORTANT: If the incorrect lock code is entered more than 3 times the phone will display "ENTER PUK". If this message is displayed contact Customer Care.
