Hoover Savvy Model U8181-900 Rewiring

The circuit board on my Hoover Savvy is burnt. The cleaner still pulls a vacuum, and the motor was running prior to shutting down due to the circuit board burning, and the wiring (except for melted connector) is intact. My question is this: can I bypass the circuit board sacrificing the led lights (clean/dirty, etc.) to get the brush motor running again?

The brush roll motor is most likely what caused the problem to the circuit board. You would look at about $100 or so for the 2 parts.

That is brobably a bad wiring, that lose contact when you move the hoover forward. The wirings should be checked, here is some schematic:

I have a Hoover Savvy Bagless Upright. The beater bar does not turn. It does not appear to be the belt.

The Savvy has a brush roll motor, whcih could be bad. There also is a circuit board near the brush roll motor, a circuit board underneath the tool holder, and the switch asm. in the handle. Any of which could be the cause of the brush roll not turning. Just needs to be checked to find what is causing the problem.

Hoover Savvy runs but has a burning smell...

Could be that the motor went bad, or one of the circuit boards is bad. The brush roll motor is the likely suspect.

Hoover savvy motor problem

The problem is the lower roller assembly circuit board fried. It happened with mine as well. I tried to order a new circuit board from Hoover, but they get it third party and don't want the liability. This is very frustrating. I'm waiting for them to call me back.
