Question about Sony KDS-R50XBR1 50" HDTV
This products picture totally failed 2 years and 2 months into its life in a protected, climate controlled safe enviroment. After paying for a Sony service call which determined the issue to be the Q Box failure, Sony's responce was... " it is out of warranty". "Write our appeal committee", good bye. I paid $3,500 for a TV with a high quality rating that needs a $1,150.71 repair in a very short life cycle. It appears Sony has ceased making quality products and supporting their Brand.
Wow, it just goes to show you that even big name brands have poor qc or qa on their products.
