I have lifeframe 3 on my laptop asus k53b I can take pictures and the cam works fine but it wont save or move any pictures into a folder on my pc, I used the Save as button but that only makes another...

Hi Welcome to Fix Ya. I also use an Asus with Lifeframe. Have you tried copying the photos to your Photo folder in your default picture library?

In other words, if you right click your photo in the lifeframe app and select "copy to" a drop down menu will appear that reads: "Select Folder."

2. Click on your Win Profile name. Then select "My Pictures" folder. The path will read: C:\Users\Your profile name\Pictures

3. You can then make a new folder or you can save it in the Lifeframe folder in a new separate folder.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using fix ya!

I cant set a photo to my desktop

  1. Find a photo you'd like to use as your computer's wallpaper. (The wallpaper is the background you see on the main screen where your icons are). You can use any photo you have saved or downloaded in your photo folder.

  2. Open your "MY PICTURES" (or wherever you have your photos stored) and find the picture you want to use.
  3. Right click on your chosen photo and then select "Set as Desktop Background" from the pop up menu. This should automatically change your desktop wallpaper to your photo.
  4. Customize the look of the photo by going into your Control Panel and then Appearance & Themes, followed by Change the Desktop Background.
  5. Choose how you want the photo displayed. You can either tile the photo, which means it will repeat the same photo several times. You can Center the photo which will have the photo appear only one time in the center of your screen. You can then also change the border color to compliment your picture. If you select the stretch option it will stretch the photo to cover your entire screen

I was copying pictures to cd drive...but instead window mssg appeared windows encountered a problem when trying to copy this file.what do you want windows to do?

Usually when this happens it is not a compatible burn extension on one or more of your photos it could be a MPEG a movie file from your camera. I personally use XPBurner it is free and never does this sort of thing for my CD burning stuff Windows Media always gives me issues like this. Basically it is a file that may be bad and will not take on the burn. Try it and see if that solves the issue. Click Here it is free software. Thanks for using FixYa! John

Hi I have a digital picture frame SP92EF It completes the 3 steps but when I go to photo's on frame it shows no pictures in current device Tks Diana There use to be a demo on exactly how to do it but is...

Diana, To answer your question about the pictures not showing up I'm going to try and cover this in a couple ways. First, I've included a couple links that include a pdf of the original manual with detailed instructions from the manufacturer. Second, I have linked to the software that came with the frame to transfer the pictures over. Lastly, on the last link takes you to the tech support phone number of the manufacturer who from the company address is US based in New Jersey.

1) If you don't already have it, here is the manual (Click Here)

2) The frames software needed to transfer photos (Click Here)

3) Tech support webpage (Click Here)

Now that covers the basics relating to the product, but to give you a quick once over on the photo transfering process. Most photo frames work in the same way, they have a software that application that plays the photo's that is suppose to help you transfer the data. My thought is that if you are connecting your frame to your PC or Laptop via a usb cable. You should here a sound from your PC showing the connection of a new device. From that you should see a new drive under my computer similar to your CD drive, and Hard Drive on you PC. Based on the manufactures directions it should appear with the name of "SP92EF". From there you should be able to open up your own picture folder and just drag and drop.

My though initially is that the problem could be in the location of where your posting the pictures. Basically, there uploaded to the frame but the location is not where the frame is looking for them. Hence, you end up seeing them from your PC, but your frame doesn't and you end up with no pictures to display. So take a look at where your transferring your photos too, and you may find that they need to be stored in a different location.

I hope this helps, and there was a small video link on one of the pages I included. Not sure if its the one your referring to, but I hope this helps.

Digital photo's on PC arranged in a certain order and transferred onto SD card in the same order but when the card is put into my digital photo frame they are displayed in what appears to be a random...

You will need to consult the instruction manual for your Digital Photo Frame. There may be a setting on the device to set a specific picture order.
Hope this helps!
