Question about Mpio HD-400 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Hd400...solid? A year or longer ago I bought an mpio hd400 and, after 3 months it just died.. suddenly it got stucked on the loading screen and my pc couldnt recognize it. That was all...there was nothing I could do about it. ..I just thought I had been unlucky with that single one "solid"..BUT, two months ago a friend gave me as a birthday present the hd400 (he knew how much I liked and missed it), and it has happened exactly the same as with the first one! :( ..if anyone is wondering.. I treated them really well, never droped them or whatever. And I even didnt remove that protecting plastic (when i normally do remove it).. So.. I just have to say (it hurts because i loved this player) that the HD400 ISNT SOLID AT ALL... IT COULD BE CALLED A BEAUTIFUL SOLID SHIT maybe.. Sorry.

1. there is a reset button if the player is stuck, there is a hole on the front panel use a paper clip.

Computer Won't Recognize Device

Try plugging your USB cable (attached to your player) into the computer before you turn the computer on and boot up . . . I had this same problem with a flash drive that the computer would not recognize if I plugged it into the computer while the computer was already on.

After knowledge more than help

Here is the link to the user manual for your player if you need it; The format of video that you play on the player will not be able to be shown on a tv without converting it using a different device - easiest and cheapest would be a pc, which basically makes it pointless using the player itself. it may be in the future that tvs will come on the market that accept a direct USB connection from devices like your player, but i havent found one yet available - keep checking. Sorry if not good news, hope it helps you out - please ask again if you want any more info :)

Frozen screen/ can't turn it off

Try the reset button which is pin-sized hole on bottom right when looking at the HD-400. You will need paper-clip to press it.

Mpio HD-400 is stuck on loading screen windows doesnt recognize it

alotita, I have an MPIO HD-200. Does Windows play the sound like you have something attached when you plug it in? Or does Windows not regognize it al all? Either way, I've had to play with mine after I've dropped it a couple of times. I charge the battery all the way, then just keep plugging and unplugging from the USB wire. The last time, it took 20+ times before Windows would recognize it.
