said modem supplied by BSNL with broad band connection for my home PC.is there any software required to run the same.please note modem configured by BSNL.but with out any software.from where i will get drve software?

- Recently BSNL has installed Siemens ADSL modem C2110 insteed of my Hwai modem. The main problem is that in the pack of Siemens modem C2110 they have not provide any list of spars supplied alomg with the modem e.g. Splitter, Cable with RJ11, Software etc. that makes the BSNL authority to conseal the technology, they used to configure the same very flicky manner resulting user gets lots of problem while connecting even user unable to configure it as per his needs. The autodialing configaration also not disclosed/ provided by BSNL autority.- walktime40Mar 13, 2008

Following is a link where you can get USB modem driver installation guide and driver.......but please make sure that you do not try to install this on SERVICE PACK 3.......because that will not install on service packs.........in case you have service packs for XP installed first uninstall ther service pack........then install the USB modem which is more or less smooth........and you can reinstall service packs afterwards without any conflict later on after the installation is complete.........this is the way I was able to install this modem driver on my PC.......

Uanble to get webpagesby the drivers as provided by CD by BSNL,namely Lan iad. Tried more then 100 times. 1 or 2 times did get a page or 2 but couldnot repeat the same next day.
