Re: blue tooth passkey

When you want to try to connect to a phone, it will ask for passkey - you actually create a new one with each connection - standard is 0000 for most devices, so people are happy to use that when connecting to friends etc.

What do i have to install on my pc to be able to take off pictutes from my phone to the computer?

If you have blue tooth in your PC then use blue tooth to send the photos. First of all open blue tooth setttings to activate, there will be a request for a passkey. choose a common name to be entered in both as it is detected. Now confirm and the phone will be logged with the PC and viceversa. you can send and receive files now.

My c261 problem

HI there,

  1. You have to set both unit blue tooth configuration settings.
  2. Turn On the blue tooth for each unit
  3. Make or initialize pairing on the unit that will send the data.
  4. The other end(cellphone) has to accept the connection invitation from your cellphone.
  5. It will ask a password, you can input a 1234 or just leave it blank if you don't want to use a passkey.
  6. After you have done the pairing, select the file you want to transfer.
  7. Select Option >> Send >> Via Blue tooth.
  8. Select the paired cellphone you connected via blue tooth that you have DO on steps 3.
Hope this initial info helps.

Just let me know for further instructions.

Blue tooth connection passkey

Most Bluetooth devices uses '1234' or '0000' as the default passkey. Since you tried using '0000', you may wanna try using 1234.
