Question about Konica Minolta bizhub C250 All-In-One Laser Printer

Cannot scan documents on Konica C250/C250P

Hi.

I'm having great difficulty in connecting to our Konica Bizhub C250 in order for me to scan documents so I can later save them to .pdf etc. I have no problem printing to the machine. A few weeks back I was able to import scans through Adobe but my machine has been having a few problems(?) recently and lost a lot of its setting. I've tried several times to re-install the software but just keep hitting a brick wall.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as I'm going to need the scanner in the next few days!

    We operate Macs and cannot scan from our Konica Bizhub 250, the engineers dont appear to have any idea, its frustrating when it prints and copies ok, but we cant scan. Do we need a separate driver to scan? Or should we see it in our print dialogue box??

    when I scan using bizhub 350 only top half of image shows up and the image is stretched out of proportion

I have a mac server that I want to share scan from our network buzhub C250. I dont know were to start can you give me some brief instructions.

Hi, If it is set up as a network printer, then go to administrator settings & check the IP address of the machine.

Go to internet explorer, type in the IP address of the copier, and you will open a page showing you the copier.

Click on the SCAN tab and check the settings.

The most common fault is when the user name and password of the PC has been changed.

To set scan default:
Select Scan Mode
Press Scan Settings
Press File Type
Press TIFF
Press Multipage
Press Ok
Press Utility/Counter
Press User Setting
Press Initial Setting
Press Current Setting
Press Ok
Press Reset

This will only affect address book destinations. Program destinations specify within their settings the file type.

To scan front and back:
Select Scan Mode
Select Destination (must be done 1st!)
Press Scan Settings
Press Simplex Duplex
Press 2 Sided
Press Ok

Ocr scan for Bizhub C450


Hello,
according to what I read on the C450 biz hub, in order to do OCR you need to use the option that scans to SMB, that sends the scanned documents to your computer on the network. You can then process the documents on your computer with the OCR software program so you can edit the finished documents. I did not see anything that indicated the Bizhub had OCR software capabilities built into the unit. Regards, rcampsr

Scanning to C352 server connect error


Check you smtp server settings in admin settings. Verify there correct. If your smtp server needs your email address and password to send, that should be populated as well under them smtp authentication settings.

Konica Minolta 250 Bizhub scanning Operations


You need to create a "one-touch"
This can be done in the Admin Screen without having to enter a code.
Better yet is to just yype the IP address into your browser and create them there.
The copier will need an email address in order to send them and you may need to log out and then back into the 250 as an "Admin".

Merging attachments of scanned files sent by email


You can use the IP Scanner software to scan the documents from your Bizhub to your pc. Once the documents are in your PC you can take apart which pages you want from the scanned documents and save them to another file and e-mail them through your computer that way.

i think that your fax is not set up right, or maybe the machine is missing admin and machine e-mail address, that can cause too this problem.
