it will shred but only after turning off and turning back on and putting paper in then I have to shut it off again. It is clean and no paper waste in the teeth.

- I have the same problem. My Aurora AS1500CD is only 3 months old.It was worrking fine and now I have to turn it off after every shredding.- mufarooq

paper feed sensor is dirty, jammed or broken depending on what kind of sensor your unit has. I work with Fellowes machines but sounds like an issue I have dealt with on our machines. You should contact manufacturer for more detailed info on how to clean or unjam sensors.
