Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

Mobile phone Samsung D900 discharges battery in approx 4 hours - only started happening recently (may be to do with bluetooth?). Have bought new battery and charger (as advised by contract supplier) but same problem exists. Wanted to reset phone to original settings but default password will not work (do not know if the password has been changed). How can I reset phone to see if this helps or can anyone give any possible solutions? Joe Mc T

Hi Joe - has the answer!

They can reflash the phone with newest firmware and restore to factory original settings for you.
If you want they can reset all the GPRS ans WAP info too.
You need to send them the phone, but it's worth it.

Battrey fast discharges

dear, there are two possible reasons of battery down.. 1st is that your battery is not ok and the other is your phone's charging IC is going to drain it.. so check the battery with other set or try with new battery in your phone.. regards, hope it will fix the issue so dont forget to rate it...

Samsung D900 Mobile Phone

May be the phone was water damaged. This kind of problems normally we see in water damaged phones. If not water damaged then PA (Power Amplifier) may be shorted and need to be changed.

its a hardware fault with the phone. it sounds like it needs a new pa amp so its either a fix by your local repair shop or new phone time.

Bluetooth frozen

RobJones, Your bluetooth chip needs to be replaced. Unfortunately you cannot do anything about this. There is fixing resin (glue, underfill)around the bluetooth module. Sometimes, if phone has been dropped or bent, the resin will be cracked. If authorized repair service will see this, they will qualify it as BER (Beyond Economical Repair)-Customer abuse. Not authorized service can try to replace it because there is 99% chance, that everything will be ok ;)

Why is my phone sending random messages? Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy s4, which I've had for just over one year, and I'm wondering how it's possibly sending messages by itself. My phone sends SMS picture messages and text messages to one of my contacts randomly, and they're always something I would really rather he not know about. For example, I'll send a text to my boyfriend about something very private, and somehow the text will go to both my boyfriend and this other contact. I've become convinced this other contact, whom I will refer to as Mike, has hacked my phone. Mike will text me and say he's received a picture or video from me that I did not send him and would never send him. To clarify, Mike is a an acquaintance from high school, and he's really stressing me out. I don't think it takes much imagination to understand that I'm saying my phone is sending Mike indecent pictures, but, and here's the kicker, I took and deleted those pictures at least a year ago. This is a longstanding issue. In fact, this has happened for the past 3 phones I've had, which were two track phones and now my current galaxy. The only common denominator between phones is my SD card, which I have reused and put into each new phone. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe Mike hasn't somehow hacked my phone, and that in reality my SD card is malfunctioning and sending these strange texts. I never know that they have sent until Mike texts me and tells me that he got them, and half of the pictures that he gets were never on my current phone anyways. I have done everything I can think to do. I've removed the SD card, did that about an hour ago, and we'll see if that works, but it's hard to know because sometimes months pass before he gets some text messaage I didn't send. This has put a severe strain on my relationship with Mike, if there ever was one, and I'm honestly just scared of him now. My boyfriend wants me to delete Mike's contact information, but I've done that before, and it didn't have any effect. Mike still got those text or SMS messages. If anyone has any ideas, I'm literally nothing but ears.
