Files corrupted can not add or delete anything to memory card.

Did you try to reformat the memory card? This will erase all your files but it will also get rid if all the corrupted files. With the card in the mp3 player, hook it up to your computer with the USB cable that came with your player. Click on the my computer icon on your computer. Right click on the removable storage device listed as the one in your mp3 player an select format. A message will pop up say are you sure you want to do this. All files will be erased in this process. Click yes. Select full format, not quick format. This will insure every file is completely gone. You will now be able to save all your mp3s back to your player. I hope this solves your problem. If you need more help feel free to get back to me. You can send me an e-mail with your number to my user name here at with your number and I will call you for free and walk you through it if it would make you more comfortable. I just want to make sure you get your problem fixed right away.

Memory corruption

Not garbage - you need the latest firmware upgrade from Philips. Open the Device Manager that came with the install CD, or go to to get it, and click on "Update" instead of "Repair." It should lead you through the firmware upgrade process - make sure you are connected to the internet first.
