i have a new dell pc with vista windows and i just bought a nortek webcam sn9c103 and it won't let me down load the soft ware on my pc how ever it does say that it is compatable with the vista windows and i can't seem to get any where with norteks web site for any answers can anyone help

Try downloading / installing said software, whilst logged on to the administrator account. Having admin rights on your account is not the same as being logged onto the admin account.
Who knows why, but some programs on Vista require full access to the admin rights. Maybe Bill Gates can answer this one for us :)
Most 3rd party programs will also require full access to the admin rights also.
