Problem for Sharp 56DR650 56 in. Rear Projection HDTV Television

Ok, so i thought i could fix it, now i need help.

Ok, so i thought i could fix it, now i need help. Problem 1. My tv was buzzing and sometimes the color was weird when you first turned it on. Then after about 30 min. all was fine. Well one day it just shut off. I read online and everyone said it was the color wheel, to try cleaning it. So i did, and when i did i broke the MICA glass in there. Now i cant find anyone to sell me just that glass, and im not even sure it would fix it, my tv does not power up at all anymore. Any ideas? or should i just scrap it. I would like to keep it if i could thanks!

When the Color Wheel Motor does not turn any more the set will shut down. The only way to my knowledge to fix it if this is what is happening is to replace the Optical Block. It consist of the Color Wheel and Optical Path as one unit and it is expensive. I estimate 700.00 to 800.00 maybe more. You could try to price it through Encompass Elect. 1800-638-3328.

Probably you have messed up the colorwheel itself. You may get some online for $ 167 to 250. but make sure the part # is right. see www.fixurtvs.com. the changing of color wheel should do fine and you need not change the entire light engine. It would be better to buy another used DLP.
