Hello I recently bought an acer aspire 4315 laptop and would like to use skype but it wont let me do that as i have some sound related problem.Maybe i havent set it up properly?How do i get a sound on my computer?

It sounds like you have not properly installed the audio driver. You have to go in device manager and see if you have any question mark in any of the devices or the audio. To go to device manager you hit start then control panel and then click device system and then click device manager.

and there download the audio driver and install it on your computer. Are you familiar with installing drivers?

After downloading it click run and install the driver.

Im using a aspire 4315 acer notebook, i have downloaded all the drivers and they are all functional however im having problems with the LAN driver .. once i install it .. the notebook hangs when i need it to restart .. any idea?

Would be Appreciated.

i do have acer 4315 down graded from vista to xp, i have down load xp driver from site and installed all drivers but sound devices not work.i goto control panel sound devices but no default audio devices not found but during audio installation audio driver error installtion i encountred, audio driver cant cant configured my audio devices.
any clue? do i need patches?
